Gorontalo, April 21 (ANTARA GORONTALO) - Gorontalo district has received the highest point in implementing the Early Childhood Education (ECD) programs conducted by the World Bank, Gorontalo District Head Nelson Pomalingo said here, Thursday.
"Gorontalo is the first of 25 districts across Indonesia in developing ECD programs by the World Bank," Nelson said.
Hence, the district head added, Gorontalo becomes a learning model for other areas, and a source of evaluation material for the World Bank.
"We have explained to the World Bank on what we have done in developing the ECD program," he said.
A number of indicators that make Gorontalo district obtain the first rank in ECD development, according to the district head, is the equal distribution and consistency in developing ECD.
The learning process aspect also provides a high value in assessment, such as training for ECD teachers which continues conducted despite the limitations, the district head added.
